Port Blair, Oct. 30: On 27th Oct. 2023, JSS South Andaman hosted a Food Festival at the Guptapara Village Community Hall. The judging panel comprised of Mr. Vijay Kumar Vice-Chairman, JSS SA, Mr. Durlav Das, the Pradhan of Guptapara, and Smt. Shampa Banerjee. The participants of the food processing batches, who are the beneficiaries, enthusiastically took part in the event.

The office bearers of Indian National Trade Union Congress Andaman and Nicobar Islands and all its affiliated trade unions was shocked and saddened to know the demise of Shri Bhagat Singhji Superintendent Engineer (Rtd) Department of Electricity A&N Administration and the Chairman Managing Committee of the A&N State Cooperative Bank Ltd Port Blair. He was one of the sons of the soil of these Islands and always worked for the upliftment and welfare of the poor masses of these Islands.
